1. Hertzian Contact Calculators
A circle, line, and two different elliptical contact algorithms are implemented in the integral JAVA applet. When using these tool, a negative radius indicates that the center of curvature is outside of the body and a positve radius indicates that the center of curvature is inside the body. Because the program does not recognize (inf) or any such symbol for infinity, you must enter a significantly large number to approximate the condition of no curvature. The applet recalculates on each Enter key press.

2. Periodic Table of the Elements
A simple java script program for the periodic table.  Atomic number, name, mass, melting point, boiling point, and crystal structure are given.  As well as the standard family names, and state under standard temperature and pressure conditions.

3. A Units Conversion Calculator
Conversion factors are from the ASTM E380-93 Standard Practice for Use of the International System of Units, and there are obviously no warranties as to the accuracy of the conversions.

If you plan on using any of these online software tools, you must have an internet browser capable of running JavaTM.
