Soooo I was looking at this pencil thing. And I originally assumed that the inside of the pencil tip was cone shaped as to guide the lead to the hole, and that the spring would just press fit into the tip however far down it could go without super force.

But now that I think about it, maybe theres a ledge in there to stop the spring at a specific point (probably...makes more sense). The problem is I can't see it, and i haven't figured out a safe way to cut it to look. SO......

Is there a ledge inside the pencil tip to stop the spring when you insert it?
