Eudora Light

Eudora Light is a free email program you can use to check your grove email. By using Eudora you won't have to worry about messing up any other email programs you are currently using. Eudora Light is available on the UF Software CD from the Hub or you can download it from www.eudora.com. If you download it get the newest version and choose the mode you want (light=free without some features, sponsor=ads but all features, paid=NOT free, no ads, all features). There are instructions there for installation.

  9. Review the current settings and click next when you've decided that they are correct. This will start the installation process. When it is complete, you will be asked if you want to view the Read Me file. You can do this at any time.
Note: If your CD is BLUE then steps 3-7 should be changed to the following:
  1. Select Software.
  2. Select Email Clients.
  3. Eudora Light tab is already selected for you.
  4. Click install button.

Alternatively you can download Eudora Light from www.eudora.com. Note: our instructions are for Eudora Light Version 3.0.x. They have just recently released a newer version (I think it is still beta).

After this part the rest of the installation should be the same. If you have problems see a TA.
