Important notes for the beginning of class

These are pulled from the syllabus and assignment guidelines which should be read in their entirety (this is the material for the Syllabus Quiz).

  1. *READ THE SYLLABUS!!!
  2. If you have a question, please send e-mail to TBA .
  3. You are responsible to check the web page for announcements regularly (3 or more days per week).
  4. Especially take note of due dates (AND times), the address for questions, and instructions for assignment submission.
  5. Gordon rule students think about your topic as it will be due soon.
  6. When the assignments are posted feel free to start them (hint: in past years the scores of those who started early were always much higher.)
  7. Note the TA hours and office locations as soon as they are up (usually after we finish our drop/adds).
  8. The syllabus may not be ready to print the first day. It is still being touched up date wise. Any problems with it will be addressed in class the first week. Policies discussed in the Syllabus are correct but the dates may not be. Also, the homework and question accounts may not have been decided yet, they will be soon (check the main page for announcements).
  9. Look over the links found in our Technical Information Section. You may see things there that will help you through out the semester.
