Syllabus Nutshell Big Book Calendar Exams
Students should memorize a select group of organisms that are common in turf environments, with emphasis on warm climates.  Besides being able to match the common English name with the scientific Latin name, you must know the general characteristics of the various organisms, as discussed in class, e.g., whether they are beneficial or detrimental, something about their life cycle and role in the turf environment.
