to participate in appropriate trade associations, for example,
on September 18th the class will go to Tampa to attend the Florida
Turfgrass Association and Show for the whole day, leaving very
early in the morning.

to develop a universal template for describing golf courses
and sports fields. Parameters would include history, soils,
management regimes, and budget; (2)
students will attempt to develop a concept of utility that can
help analyze whether a facility is under- or over-maintained.
