Comparative study of golf and sports fields.

Objective:

 
  (1) to develop a universal template for describing golf courses and sports fields.  Parameters would include history, soils, management regimes, and budget;
 (2) students will attempt to develop a concept of utility that can help analyze whether a facility is under- or over-maintained.
Location:  Miami Dolphins Training Complex, Davie, Florida
 We will observe drainage, irrigation, including subirrigation.
