Tri-Gators Meeting 8/30/01

1. Everyone needs to have a waiver filled out, and do a swim test - do this at practice (fri 5-7pm, sun 9-11am) at the FL Pool.

2. Workouts:

2.1. Mondays 8pm track: coached

2.2. Tuesdays cycling 4:30pm at Rock

2.3. Wednesdays 6pm law school run

2.4. Thursdays 9:15pm spinning at Orion, meetings alt weeks at 8pm

2.5. Fridays 5pm swimming in FL Pool

2.6. Saturdays no official workouts scheduled

2.7. Sundays 9-11am swimming in FL Pool

2.8. Swimming: Masters

2.8.1. Practices: MWF 5-6am, M-F 11:30-1, M-R 7:30-9pm, see page for info and fees.

2.9. Cycling: Team Florida has daily rides: MWF 4:30pm at Rock,: M, F 1-2h, W long: 3+h, TR Hipp rides at Hippodrome 6pm: HARD FAST RIDE, weekend rides with GCC groups, see page for more info

3.1. 9/9 3 Mile Night Light run at Oaks Mall, 8pm

3.2. 9/15 Gainesville Biathlon series race #5, 5k run/ 800 m swim, at Westside pool (near corner of NW 8^Th Ave and 34^th Street, 8 AM start

3.3. 9/22 Dog Days 5k run, Westside Park, Gainesville, 8 AM. (FTC)

3.4. 9/22 Big Lick in VA: sign up for this race: pass out entries. $50 entry, reimbursement eventual. School covers costs. Should be <$50 total out of pocket. Regional championship race, Olympic distance: 1.5/40/10. State intent NOW on list: Michele is coordinating: mmoss@ufl.edu everyone that is racing needs to let her know and get an entry form from her. Entries to be sent in next week, last day is Monday 9/10!!!!!!!!!!!!

3.5. 10/7 Battle of the Bridges Triathlon, Melbourne FL: who’s in? Seabitch arrange?

3.6. 10/27 Titanium Man Triathon ½ / 20 / 4 ?? Sprint+ distance at Camp Blanding <1 hr. School covers costs (eventually)
