Tonight we had a nice little meeting. The main focus was the Health First Triathlon that is coming up on the 1st of October. Rides to Melbourne were discussed and after an intense logistical discussion, the rides were arranged. If you are still in need, shout to the listserv.

Another race on the horizon is the Floridian Super Sprint which you can still sign up for. That race is in Clermont on October 21.

We had two race reports this evening: Kevin competed against a large pro field in the ITU Panamerican Cup in Westchester NY this past weekend. He had a tough race but a great result. Despite getting beat up in the swim and breaking his hand in T2, he ran a 33:09 10k to finish 14th out of 43 athletes.

Mariel ran in the Mountain Dew invitational on the UF golf course. She wasnt happy with her time, but still managed to finish about half the people in her race - who were mostly collegiate cross country runners. So we think she did pretty well.

Additionally, the TriGator's new T-shirts are for sale, so talk to Mariel if you want to get your hands on one of those.
