Hello Everyone!

I hope everyone had a great holiday break!  Here's a couple of minutes about what happened at the meeting last night:

First of all, I would just like to welcome everyone who is new to the group!  I'm excited that you joined!  Please remember to print out a sports club waiver from the website.  You'll have to take a swim test. But no worries, it's simple!  :)

Next, uniforms will be shipped this week sometime.  They should be in by next meeting.  There are also extra uniforms if you didn't order one. It's $60 for the uniform set.  We also have T-shirts for sale for $10.

Christine Woodruff, coach of the Master’s swimming team, came to talk about Master's swim practice.  It cost $25 a month for students, and there are 14 practices a week.  The times are:
5:30am-7am; 11:30am-1pm; 6:30pm-8pm.  They meet at the outside pool at the ODOME.  If you're interested, go to:

If you're looking to go on a bike ride, try coming to the ride on Thursdays.  No one gets dropped, and it's a good way to get into biking if you haven't been!  One last thing, the long runs for the next 3 Saturdays are still going on, however there are bike races those days, so a lot of people may not show up.  However the long runs may be rescheduled for another day, but if not, feel free to go run there anyways if you have the time!

Now for the Races!

This semester there's going to be 4 races.  The first one is the Trigator sprint, which is FREE to all UF students.  Volunteers are needed for this race! Part of the money raised for this race will go towards the plane ticket for Nationals.
The next race after the Trigator sprint is Red Hills. After that is Great Clermont, then Nationals.  The school will pay for any entry fees for these races, and hotels if needed.

Nationals is in
Reno Nevada this year. We shall leave April 20th, and return April 23rd.  The school may reimburse us part of the plane ticket.  Wetsuits are recommended for this race and the Red Hills race.

Please look on the website for more information on the upcoming races!

Well now it's time for useless knowledge:

Have good day!!
