The Student Society for Musicology at UF

We are a new organization, formed in the fall of 2007 to serve the University of Florida as a forum for the discussion and promotion of musicology: the academic study of all musics in all times and places.  We meet every Friday at 1:55pm and welcome the participation of any graduate or undergraduate UF students interested in both musicology and ethnomusicology.

Please look around the site for information on our organization, our members, any upcoming events, and the second annual Symposium on April 12th.  This year’s theme will be “Performance and the Creative Process.”
