Overview
The Society for Green Mobility exists to foster interest in alternative technologies for transportation.
Society for Green Mobility is a brand new student organization at the University of Florida. The purpose of SGM is to help advance knowledge of sustainable mobility technologies through participation in competitions, demonstration projects, and public education. Participation in these activities will produce a real engineering and business environment, stressing problem solving, budgeting, time management, and most importantly, innovation.

Why did I start this club?
Environmental
The atmospheric buildup of CO2 and other greenhouse gases is largely the result of human activities such as the burning of fossil fuels.
Increasing greenhouse gas concentrations tend to warm the planet. (ref: epa.gov)
