Low Brass Symposium
Working with Dr. Arthur Jennings, professor of trombone at the University of Florida, SCI-UF will help bring John Stevens as a guest composer/performer.
John Stevens will lead masterclasses with UF Composition students. He will also perform a recital showcasing his works, our works, and other famous tuba repertoire.
Due to John Steven's short stay, the low brass professors, Dr. Arthur Jennings and Professor James Jenkins, will perform more student works at a recital later in the week, along with Dr. Paul Basler and Dr. Kenneth Broadway. All events are free and open to the public.
Submissions for the John Stevens concert are due January 15, 2008.
Visit the Trombone Studio Website for more information.
