Hi! First and foremost, thanks for your interest in the Red Cross Gators Student Organization. As a branch of the American Red Cross of North Central Florida Chapter, the Red Cross Gators provide services and volunteer opportunities conveniently on campus. We have several exciting projects and activities prepared for every semester: br>

Disaster Training (Including Mass Care & Shelter Operations)
HIV/AIDS Peer Education
CPR Training
Red Cross Scavenger hunt
Health & Safety forum
Jacket Drive (to collect warm clothes for those in need)
Comfort Kits (for people who have lost their homes to fires)
Hurricane Preparedness Kits
Babysitting Training
First Aid and Water Safety for Kids
CPR Instructorship

There are plenty of things that we haven't mentioned. The Red Cross Gators is basically a "mini RED CROSS"! so any event that the American Red Cross does and sponsors, WE CAN DO TOO! It's just a matter of imforming us on what your interests are and we'll take care of the rest.

The Red Cross dedicates all its efforts to help communities PREVENT, PREPARE for and RESPOND to emergencies.

Every part of the Red Cross around the world proudly values and practices this mission, and as The Red Cross Gators student organization we will strive to honor this mission by offering many services (educational, and relief-related) to the community as well as welcoming and encouraging student volunteers to support us in helping serve this goal.
