Guitars and Music!

My array of guitars

My Guitars

I took up guitar in high school. I learned to play while I was living with my grandparents. Why I'm not dead and burried in their back yard I don't know. They have some kind of patience. I wasn't very good then. Not very good now but I do love to play. Mostly for my own enjoyment and occaisionally, very occaisionally in front of people.

Left to right thats a Ventura acoustic, a Japanese Fender Squire Strat, a Takamine 12 string, a (1964?) Harmony H19 Silhouette, a Martin traveler, an Electra Les Paul copy and a Yamaha APX 5A.

Weekend Warriors

I participated in the "Weekend Warrior" event put on by Hoggtowne Music in November. Very cool. I recommend it.

Weekend Warriors

Well... I didn't jam with ZZ but I did play with some awesome musicians, Mark Chirico (Guitar, Bass & Vocals) and Mark Chirico (Bass and Guitar) and Mark's friend Ben on drums. We practiced three or four times over the course of three weeks then played out on a full stage, elevated platforms, Amps, PA, lights and everything set up at the store. There were four bands that played 5 - 10 songs each in front of a crowd of fifty people or so. It could have been thousands.

More on this later.
