


Fall 2009 Ladder Rules
- A player can only challenge a maximum of two spots above their position on the ladder.
- For example, player #6 is eligible to challenge player #5 and player #4.
- Challenge matches are best of three games
- Two games to 15 points and a tiebreaker to 11 points, if necessary.
- If the challenger wins, they take the position of the player they just defeated and the losing player falls one position on the ladder.
- Player #7 challenges player #5 and wins. Player #7 jumps to #5, player #5 falls to #6, player #6 moves to #7 on the ladder.
- Once a challenge has been issued, you have 7 days to complete the match unless academic conflicts or other circumstances arise.
- All challenge matches are scheduled via email through Michael Knudsen. Contact him on the same day that the challenge is issued.
- Michael Knudsen must be notified or the match will not count as a challenge match.
- All challenge results must be reported to Michael Knudsen within 24 hours of completion.
- All new club members will begin at the bottom of the ladder.
