Alpha Chapter Updates

Next Meeting - Our next meeting will continue the UF PRSSA Speaker Series featuring Debbie Mason from United Way of Broward County, one of the top not-for-profit organizations. Please join us on Wednesday, October 14 at 6:30 p.m. in Turlington L007.

Membership - We are still accepting applications and dues for a $10 late fee. The year has just begun to really take off, and we would love to have as many members to take advantage of all of UF PRSSA’s benefits as possible.

Alpha Families - At our last meeting we implemented the Alpha families program. Alpha families is a completely new concept that UF PRSSA has instituted this year to enhance camaraderie among members. Each member was assigned to an Alpha family denoted by Greek Letters (Alpha Beta, Alpha Gamma, Alpha Delta and so on). These Alpha families will have the opportunity to interact directly with an executive board member as well as each other at various events during the year. Families will also have the opportunity to compete against each other for prizes and special incentives. If you were not at the last meeting, you will still be getting an e-mail introducing you to your family.
