Alpha Chapter Updates
Next Meeting - Our next meeting will continue the "Beyond the
Classroom" Speaker Series with Debbie Mason, APR, PRSA Fellow, from
United Way, one of the top not-for-profit organizations. Please join us
Wednesday, October 14 at 6:30 p.m. in Turlington L007.
T-shirts for Sale - At our next meeting (see above) we will be
selling our t-shirts. They are $12 and earn you 5 points.
Committees Still Open - Some of our committees are still
looking for members to join. If you are still interested in getting
involved in a committee, contact Michael
Del Sontro for the
Yearbook Committee, Jen Gezzar for the Bateman Committee and Shelby Powell for the Web site Committee.

Internship of the Week
Public Relations Intern - Edelman, Orlando, Fla.
Edelman's Orlando office is seeking student trainees
with immediate availability who can thrive in an entrepreneurial and
high-energy environment. Your range of skills will grow with your
interests and ability.
The Trainee is responsible for assisting with
implementing and monitoring projects within a specific set of accounts
under the direction of the supervisor. The Trainee works closely with and
supports the needs of the account teams.
