Alpha Chapter Updates
Next Meeting - The next UF PRSSA meeting will continue our "Beyond the
Classroom" Speaker Series with Sandy D'Elosua, the national director
of public relations and social media for The Melting Pot, on Wednesday,
November 4 at 6:30 p.m. in Turlington L007.
She is a recent graduate from UF and will be
sharing her experience, transition from student to professional, the
current challenges in the marketplace and economy, and how to market
yourself to find a job.
The First Social - How well do you know the UF campus?
Find out on Wednesday, November 11 at the PRSSA Scavenger Hunt! The event
will be held in the afternoon (specific time TBA) and will be a
competition between the PRSSA families. There are no classes that day, so
what better way to spend it then getting to know your family in a fun and
crazy a race to the finish line! Twenty exciting clues will lead you in a
race around campus. No transportation is required, but a bike or car can
be used if you choose, and make sure to bring at least one camera per
family. Come out and compete for the title of best clue-collecting family
in PRSSA! We hope to see you there!
T-shirts for Sale - At our next meeting (see above) we will be
selling our t-shirts. They are $12 and earn you 5 points.
