How to Join PRSSA

To register for PRSSA, please download and review the memership packet.

Applications can be submitted in Student Organization Office, Room 2083 in Weimer Hall.

Applications are due by 4 p.m. on Sept. 16, 2009.

There is a $10 late fee for members joining after Sept. 16, 2009 for the Fall semester. Download Membership Packet




Fall 2009 membership dues are $85 for new members and $75 for returning members. Pay Dues Online



Dues can also be turned in at the Student Organization Office in Weimer Hall.
Members must retain "active" status by collecting points for attending and participating in various UF PRSSA activities and events. An "active" status is achieved by collecting 35 points for Fall 2009 and 25 points for Spring 2010. Below is a description of activities and their point values:

Check Your Points

Alpha families is a completely new concept that UF PRSSA has instituted this year to enhance camaraderie among members. Each member will be assigned to an alpha family denoted by Greek letters (Alpha Beta, Alpha Gamma, Alpha Delta, and so on). These Alpha families will have the opportunity to interact directly with an Exectuve Board member as well as each other at various events during the year. Families will also have the opportunity to compete against each other for prizes and special incentives.
