Hours:
We are especially looking for students with morning
availablity - for example, from 7-12 or 7-1 on Monday, Wednesday,
and Friday.  There are limited afternoon shifts available as well.
 The positions are for 20 hours a week as a minimum;  we are
willing to work with school schedules.  Our clinic is open from
7AM-7PM Monday-Friday and 8AM-2PM on Saturdays. There are also
kennel responsiblities on Sundays and holidays.
Duties:

Veterinary Technician

Veterinary Technicians will work 1-2 Kennel
shifts per week walking dogs, cleaning cages, and feeding.  They
will also assist the doctors by restraining animals, record
keeping, talking to clients, helping with appointments, assisting
in surgery, taking X-rays, caring for sick patients,& running
labwork, including fecals, bloodwork, etc.  This is a very busy
hospital and it is great experience for any student interested in
going to vet school.


Pre-requisites:  Prior Veterinary Technician experience is
preferred but not required.  We are looking for intelligent,
hard-working college students with a strong interest in Veterinary
Medicine.
