Pre-Veterinary Medicine Club
of the university of florida
Overview: Who We Are & What We Do
We are a student organization whose members are largely interested in veterinary medicine as well as gaining admission into vet school. Our group meets every other week and all UF students, faculty, staff, and student spouses interested in veterinary medicine or in the club's activities are welcome to join. Club activities include guest speakers talking on pre-veterinary and veterinary related topics, tours of veterinary facilities (including our own veterinary college), animal-related volunteer activities, informative field trips, and social club gatherings such as the Spring Banquet held at the end of the year. We also offer club t-shirts available for sale that change annually in design. If you have any questions you can contact the officers with your inquiries.

Overall, the PreVet Club at the University of Florida offers many opportunities to meet and interact with fellow pre-veterinary students, to gain valuable experience and information regarding animals and their care, and to prepare members for the application process to vet schools, should they choose to apply. However, we do not only aim to help our members, we also like for our members to reach out and help their community. Please feel free to browse this site to gain a better feel for our club. If you are interested in joining, please visit the "How to Join" section of this website for more detailed information.
