Prospective Members

Applicants seeking membership into Pi Sigma Alpha must meet the following requirements:

• Possess a minimum 3.0 GPA overall

• A minimum 3.3 GPA in Political Science related coursework

• At least 12 hours of Political Science coursework

• Junior standing (have completed at least 60 total credit hours)

Students meeting these requirements must simply complete the application and pay a membership fee of $50 to become a full-member of PSA.  Every additional year of membership will require a renewal due of $20.

If you are a student who does not meet the requirements for admission, but would still like to become a member of PSA, please complete the application noting which requirements have not been met.  PSA will issue "provisional memberships" to those students who have the potential to meet full-membership status within one academic year.  Provisional members will be asked to pay a $20 initiation fee, and then the remainder of the dues once full membership is achieved.  Provisional members will still be responsible for yearly renewal dues.
