What Does A Volunteer Do?
Peace Corps Volunteers work in the following areas:
- Education
- Youth Outreach and Community Development
- Health and HIV/AIDS
- Agriculture and Environment
- Business Development
- Information Technology
Within these areas, the specific duties and responsibilities of each Volunteer can vary widely. One thing is constant: Serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer means 27 months of hard work. It takes determination, flexibility, patience, and a sense of humor, but the rewards far outweigh the difficulties. It's the toughest job you will ever love.
