Philip ChaseEmail: pbc@ufl.edu Office: G1-007a, JHMHC Phone: 352-392-0965 FAX: 352-392-6529 I work for the Colleg of Health Professions at the J. Hillis Miller Health Science Center at the University of Florida. Perhaps it is simpler to say I work at UF. I have been with HP since November of '99 and with UF since September of '88. I'm a LAN manager supporting NetWare 5, Linux, ZEN Works, WIN95, WIN NT 4, Solaris and whatever else comes across my monitor. I also do most of my programming in Perl. Technical DocsI do a lot of writing in my current job and did a lot in my previous jobs. Most of it is in HTML and is on the web at places like CIRCA's NetWare Support pages, CIRCA's PC group internal docs and VPHA's workstation support pages. I also did a presentation on NetWare Security at UF's Information Technology Security Awareness Day. This is not my jobFortunately, I also have a life, but that's private. No, I don't invite strangers into my house either. This is my hobbyBack when I had free time, I frequently did this thing called kite buggying. In fact I like buggying and big kites so much that I maintain the Power Kiting Page to spread the word about how fun this sport is. Sadly the site has languished (I would rather do it than talk about it). My buggying skills have waned a bit too, but even that may once again by on the rise. Grrrrrr!Somebody stole my kites! Help me get the varmints and get my gear back. If you visit the beaches on Florida's Northwest coast you just might be able to help. Check out my web page to learn what the gear looks like. Maybe you'll see someone flying it! Update: Many people have asked if I ever got my kites back. I thank you all for your expression of concern. Sadly, though as of August 2001 there is no progress. I have since built more kites and am far less bitter about the whole thing.Boat for SaleI have a kayak for sale. Please take a look: Perception Corsica S for Sale
