Lambda Theta Alpha strives to educate its sisters and community
through cultural and educational programs. Sisters promote leadership
and maintain high academic standards. Sisters do mandatory study
hours each week and attend workshops on time management and study
skills to benefit their academics. And that is just the beginning.
To further promote academics, Chi Chapter has established the
Unity Jam Scholarship. Every year, with the participation of organizations
across the state and nation, a Unity Jam is held and all proceeds
go to fund the scholarship and a donation to charity.
During Hispanic Heritage Month, Chi Chapter is known to bring
big-name acts to campus such as the hit play, “Yo Soy Latina!”,
NYC-based poet La Bruja and the Latina Confessions Tour.
Besides big productions like these, Chi Chapter offers useful
academic workshops and forums for the benefit of the UF community.

In addition to maintaining academic excellence, the Lambda Ladies
of Chi Chapter remain active in numerous organizations.
