·Responsible for all aspects of design, implementation,
operation, testing, and maintenance for video related systems including:
campus-wide cable television distribution; streaming video distribution; H.320
and H.323 videoconferencing services, network infrastructure, and endpoints;
satellite downlink services; point-to-point video distribution via fiber and
MPEG-2 over Ethernet; and IP Telephony
·Responsible for overall management of Video &
Collaboration Services including: short and long-term planning, budget,
personnel, departmental Web presence, coordination with other campus units, and
integration with Network Services
·Assist with long-term campus-wide planning for
infrastructure build-out, service expansion, and the establishment of standards
