Submissions
Dear Authors,
Thank you for your interest in the Journal of Law and Public Policy. As we enter our twentieth successful year of publication, we are gathering the greatest legal scholars from around the country and aggregating common articles into themed issues. In April 2008, we are releasing a bankruptcy themed issue that will contain articles from various professors, bankruptcy judges and prominent lawyers within the legal community.
In August 2008, we plan to release an issue related to the 2008 presidential election. If you would like to submit an article relating to either the 2008 presidential election, the issues being heavily debated in the election, or the election process itself, then please submit your article to JLPP and note in the subject line that you are submitting your article for publication in issue 19.2. One of the greatest legal scholars in the country, Professor Lyrissa Lidsky, is overseeing and advising our Journal on the release of 19.2.
Although our normal guidelines require a 30 page minimum for articles, we are accepting articles with a 20 page minimum for 19.2 so we can publish various authors.
Again, thank you for your interest. We look forward to working with you and hopefully publishing your submission. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. Thank you.
Very truly yours,
University of Florida Journal of Law and Public Policy
All submissions to the Journal should be in final form. Lengthwise, the articles should be a minimum of thirty (30) double spaced pages, including footnotes. Articles should be typed in WordPerfect.
Submissions to the Journal should conform to THE BLUEBOOK: A UNIFORM SYSTEM OF CITATION (18TH ED.) whenever possible.
However, as an indisciplinary Journal, we are aware that authors in disciplines outside of law may be unfamiliar with the Blue Book system of citation.
