Recruitment

Each Fall and Spring semester, the chapters of the Interfraternity Council participate in Recruitment (formerly known as "Rush"). Recruitment is a week-long event in which potential members can visit the individual fraternity chapters and decide if they wish to join the Greek community. Fraternity chapters typically host three events a day during Recruitment Week: lunch, dinner, and a nightly activity at which food will also be served.  We encourage everyone to attend as many of these as they can.

Fraternity recruitment is a great way to meet new people and make a campus of over 45,000 smaller by joining our community. Fraternity Recruitment is your opportunity to make one of the best decisions of your life, going Greek!

Please read through each of the "Recruitment Info" pages to familiarize yourself with all of the various aspects of IFC Recruitment, and check back regularly, as we will post Recruitment updates and add activities to the calendar regularly.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact A.J. Rosenthal at slyhibor@ufl.edu.
