Social Training
In order for a fraternity chapter to have social activities, the Interfraternity Council and the Office of Sorority and Fraternity Affairs (OSFA) mandates that all chapter Presidents and Social Chairs complete social training. Social training occurs every semester, with topics covered including the University of Florida Alcohol Policy, the difference between legal and illegal social activities, how to register a social event, how to go about properly preparing for a social event, FIPG insurance guidelines, and IFC and OSFA expectations when it comes to alcohol responsibility.
