So you want to be an Honors Ambassador?

Honors Ambassadors is a student-run organization comprised of some of the most enthusastic and involved honors students. Our main mission is to share our experiences with the Honors Program and the University of Florida with prospective students and their families. We reach out to recruit the best and brightest students through weekly honors information sessions in the new visitor welcome center, tours of the Honors Residential College at Hume Hall, hosting overnight prospective students, a spring Visitation Day, and informal lunches and dinners with prospective students and their families. And we have alot of fun doing it.

Honors Ambassadors is a close-knit organization that results in lifelong friendships. We first get to know each other through the Spring retreat, and continue to grow closer as an organization through our bi-weekly meetings and our work with prospective students. Many of us have found that meeting with prospective students has helped us gain a better understanding of the college decision process and learn a lot of neat things about the
University of Florida.

New members are selected each spring term through an application and interview process.

Note to prospective members: The 2005 application deadline has passed. Please look for 2006 applications in December.
