A letter from our President...
I would like to welcome all of you to the Hispanic Communicators Association. I know I speak for the entire executive board when I say that we are very excited for this semester.
We are delighted at the interest taken by new students in becoming motivating elements in our organization. We would also like to thank and congratulate many of the upperclassmen for becoming active members once again.
I would like to also say that I am ecstatic at the involvement and interest taken by not only my Hispanic peers, but also those non-Hispanic students wishing to become more involved. I feel it is a great career move on your part.
HCA was once the college's largest minority organization, and under this new management, we hope for it to reach this honorable status once again.
New members have the opportunity to gain knowledge, experience and networking opportunities in each of their desired fields. HCA will not only offer events and speakers to its members, but we are also going to push very hard for all of you to have clips in both Spanish and English.
In addition, as a minority organization, it is very important for our voice to be heard. It is equally important for each of us to know other Hispanic students in the college who share in the same experiences and outlooks as we do.
I expect this to be a very eventful and exciting semester, and an even more electrifying year. I welcome you all, once again, to HCA.
-Melissa Nobles, HCA President
