Transgender Remembrance Day

GatorGSA has decided to help the plight of Transgendered individuals, and chose this week (Nov 18/19) to both advocate for and to remember those who have been killed. We decided to make five outlines of bodies and put them at our tabling locations. We'll have two of each type, and each one will have a few sentences about a transgendered person who died. The official day is Saturday, but we'll be tabling Thursday and Friday. We will start tabling in Turlington and then perhaps bring some of our outlines to other tabling locations such as the Plaza of the Americas or the Reitz Union Colonnade. We'll be having a prep meeting Wednesday night at 7pm. We also have a flyer that we'll be putting up tomorrow afternoon, and also give some out at our meetings both Wednesday and Thursday.
