Membership
Why Join?
Becoming a UF FWEA member means you're serious about networking with professionals in the Water Environment field. It also gives you the opportunity to network with other UF environmental students.
What does my $20 membership fee include?
The Florida Water Resources Journal, WEF Highlights, and a WEF periodical of the student's choice (either Water Environment & Technology, Water Environment Research, Operations Forum, or Industrial Wastewater).
What are some of the other benefits?
- National student paper competitions
- The Robert A. Canham Scholarship
- Career networking with professionals
- Discounted prices on WEF publications
- Classified advertising
- Evenings with an executive
Does all that go to the student organization?
No. $4 of the student membership fee is required by FWEA (not UF FWEA) and $20 goes toward membership in WEF.
