Florida Water Environment Assocation

About

Our mission is to connect the student body at the University of Florida to the professional world and to provide education on issues facing the Florida water environment and treatment technologies to address these issues.

The Student Chapter at the University of Florida (UF FWEA) was founded in 1990 to promote student interest and involvement in the water environment field.

Our membership consists of graduate and undergraduate students in the disciplines of environmental engineering sciences and geology.

However, membership is open to any student with an interest in the environment.

The UF FWEA is a Student Chapter of the Florida Water Environment Association, a Member Association of the Water Environment Federation.

As a professional student organization, the chapter assists student members in their transition into the water quality profession.
