Air Potato Round Up!

Join AWMA, AWRA, AWWA, FWEA, and SEE in the fun and help protect local conservation lands by participating in the 12th Annual Great Air Potato Roundup!
- Saturday, January 29th from 9:00am to 11:00am
- Cone Park/Eastside Recreation Center; 841 E. University Ave, Gainesville, FL
- Dress appropriately for working outdoors
- Bring water!
We will join over a thousand volunteers who will be taking back Gainesville's natural areas by removing air potato plants from several sites across the area. Air potato plants are non-native, invasive vines that can grow up to eight inches a day and threaten native vegetation.
All of the participating EES-based student orgs are joining forces to serve muffins, donuts, fruit, coffee, and juice for volunteers.
