The Florida Undergraduate Film Society is a C.L.A.S.S.C. club at the University of Florida. We are a student group dedicated to the enhancement of film culture on the University of Florida campus and in the surrounding community. Our mission is to heighten the awareness of film culture on our campus by promoting film in all its incarnations.
We meet weekly, publish a quarterly film journal called FUFshot, hold an annual film festival called Cinerama, have weekly screenings of rare, artisitc, or unique films, and attend film festivals throughout the Southeast. Our members also participate in various filmmaking ventures.
Dr. Scott Nygren and Dr. Nora Alter are currently serving as our faculty advisors.
