2.the construction project management bar chart;

3.project network analysis (CPM);

4.construction cost management and cost control;

5.the time value of money;

6.the contracting procedure & types of contracts; and

7.the cost of owning and operating construction equipment using spread sheets.

Project Management: the overall control of construction project to optimize:

1.quality;

2.scheduling; and

3.cost.

Proper management of the construction planning and decision process is extremely important.

The total process of engineered construction includes:

1.project definition;

2.preliminary planning;

3.project design;

4.procurement of major items;

5.project construction; and

6.project startup.
