Welcome to the Florida Magazine Student Association website! We are an organization at the University of Florida committed to providing members with a fun and interesting environment in which to get to know each other and magazine publishing. We typically have monthly meetings and social events; to considered active in the club, members must attend two consecutive meetings and a social event. All University of Florida students interested in a career in the magazine industry are welcome, regardless of major or year of study. New members are always welcome, and we do not charge dues. FMSA was founded at UF in 1996. Our parent organization is FMA, the Florida Magazine Assocation. FMSA members are allowed and encouraged but not required to join FMA, as it provides valuable connections to and information about the magazine world.
