University of Florida Crew
Our mission is to promote the sport of rowing within the University of Florida. Florida Crew is a competitive intercollegiate club team with athletes training at the varsity level. Our rowers compete in many regattas throughout the country. They are trained and coached on the principles of collegiate rowing in both a positive and competitive atmosphere. All University of Florida students are encouraged to participate.

Family Weekend
Family weekend was a great time. The team raised over $7,500 in donations alone and is very close to building our new boathouse. Pictures will be posted shortly. In the meantime, help us by taking this tiny survey

University of Florida had the strongest showing to date at the annual Southern Sprints erg race. UF placed in every category taking home three gold metals and a slew of silver and bronze. Congratulations to all the rowers that participated. Be sure to look at the results.

UF had a strong showing at the Dad Vail Regatta in Philadelphia. Both the men's novice and varsity team pulled their fasted pieces to date. The novice ladies landed a seat in the semi-finals, the first UF team to do so since 1999. Overall a great race!

Rowers return to Newnan's lake for the first time in years! The Florida Crew Classic was reinstated and UF, UCF, and FSU all participated and posted impressive results. Thanks to all who participated and helped make this event a success. And special thanks goes to Clayton Cox for organizing and planning this classic race.

Florida Crew's inaugural Family Weekend event was a huge success. Over 100 parents and siblings attended the two-day event. Family members learned to erg, rowed in an actual shell, and rooted during the "all-star" race. In addition, the team was able to fundraise over $5,000 and establish a great support for this fast-growing team. Read More
