About This Site

Yet Another One?

Yes! The most important new aspect of this site is that it is not on anyone's personal account. The club now has its own Grove account that provides email and web space. This means that as officers and members change, the web site doesn't. This has provided a stablity so that information can be easily found.

In the Works

As aspects of the club develop so will areas of this web site. In the future, we would like to have an alumni section so that UF fencers can keep in contact over the years. In addition, documents and forms will also have online counterparts for instant submission in a consistent manner. Other areas already established, such as fundraising and news, will continue to expand.

Also, please submit any photos taken during tournaments or other club activities for inclusion on the web site. Fencers are vain. Let's put up our pictures.

Technical Stuff

This site is designed to be viewed with at screen resolution of at least 800 x 600. What does this mean? If can't see everything on the screen at one time and have lots of little scroll bars between all the frames, your screen resolution is too low. If you're running Windows, click start > settings > control panel. Then double-click on "display" and choose the "settings tab." Increase your screen area from there. If you have a small monitor, your maximum screen resolution might still be too small.

If run across broken links or incorrect/out-of-date information, or just have a suggestion, then please let the officers know immediately.
