Recreational membership allows members of the UF community the opportunity to enjoy the sport of fencing at their leisure.

Equipment

The club has fencing equipment for recreational members to use in the Florida Gym. Anyone borrowing equipment must sign it out. Equipment may never be removed from the building so that we can ensure availability for all members. All equipment must be used in the proper manner to ensure safety.

Tournaments

If a recreational member is interested in participating in a tournament, links to local USFA competitions is provided on the Links page. USFA national events will always be listed on their site. All tournaments require electrical fencing equipment and membership in the USFA to compete. For more information, visit the USFA web site and feel free to speak to a captain or officer.
