Objectives:

Develop competency conducting procedures and making calculations to determine amount of irrigation water to apply

Introduction

Plant water need is influenced by plant species and size; environmental factors (including geographical location); and time of year. The amount of water applied to satisfy the container plant water need must also be adjusted for the amount of water entering the container.
