Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Why do some of the multimedia links display incorrectly (e.g. opening extra or blank windows)?

A: If the problem is occurring with both the Flash and video files, you may have an outdated web-browser. We recommend you install the latest version of Internet Explorer (PC/MAC), Netscape, or Opera. If this is not an option, you may wish to try saving the files to your hard disk by clicking on them with the right mouse button and selecting "Save Link Target As..." Then open the file from the directory in which you saved it. If the problem is occuring only with the Flash content, you probably have the standalone SWF player installed. The flash content will still function correctly in the standalone player, and the extraneous pop-up window may be safely closed. If you don't need the standalone player, you may uninstall it to fix the problem. Then you should be able to play the flash movies within the site's pop-up windows.
