VHDL
This shows what I've been working on for the past day. The graphical specification is only a diagram. The actual circuit was specified completely in VHDL. I. Hate. My. Life.

The VHDL is referred to as a "structural specification", meaning it would be much easier to specify using the graphical editor. Since I also had to produce the diagram using the graphical editor, I'm a little pissed about the 300-line VHDL shitbrick I had to write.
I know the page is getting really big. I've not had the time to work on my site much, so please get broadband if you don't already have it. ;-)

Lab Reports
The lab report thing is me making the best of an utterly crappy situation. :-)

Whoops
Oh, it wasn't clear...that post from yesterday was part of my thoughts from about a year ago. Things have changed.

Selected Words
- I remember the frustration of talking to blank faces, which quickly turned into a sense of loneliness. It's not that they didn't care.
- Sloppy, strange, antsy, rude, worrisome, corny, and stupid: all words that have been used to describe me in the past twenty-four hours. Some were said jokingly, others were said seriously. Either way, I am hurt. I am confused. I'm happy, sad, and happy again within the span of just a few minutes. If someone catches me in the wrong place, I am liable to get very angry about something they were only teasing about. I get very distressed when I show this anger to my friends; they don't deserve it. For the sake of others, I want to be happy.

Movie Soundtracks
I saw Daredevil last night, but this isn't about the movie so much as the soundtrack. In Daredevil, there is a song played throughout that sounds as though it's from the American Beauty soundtrack. Since the Kingpin likes roses, it's an interesting link between the two movies.
Recently, it seems that movie studios are using music from other films instead of coming up with a new score. Even the movie trailers are using music from other films, such as the Two Towers trailer that used music from Requiem for a Dream by Clint Mansell and the latest Hulk trailer that used music from Run Lola Run.

Ugh....
You know it's bad when your boss asks you if you're doing okay.

Zwan
I bought Zwan's album, Mary Star of the Sea. I'm still trying to really absorb it, but it's got some catchy songs. It's good they released "Honestly" first, since it's arguably the most Smashing Pumpkins-like of all the songs. It's interesting - Billy seems to be trying a new singing voice, which is on the whole less whiny. I dunno, check it out.
