New Meeting

| Apparently I am still not receiving the listserv emails so I am oblivious as to what information needs to be updated here... the meeting that was scheduled for last week (11.6.03) has been rescheduled to 11.13.03 at 7:30 in Dauer Hall room 233. I'm unsure as to whether or not I will be in attendance because this will be a hectic week for me. But, I'll know better after Monday/Tuesday of this week. Either way, I hope everyone has fun!

| The First German Club meeting of the Fall 2003 semester is going to be
this Thursday, September 11th at 7:00 PM at the Reitz Union. Be sure
to attend to find out about officer positions available for this year.

| The last German Club meeting of the Spring 2003 semester is going to be
this Wednesday, April 16th at 7:00 PM at the Swamp Restaurant. Be sure
to attend to find out about officer positions available for next year.

Schnitzel Dinner Coming Up!
| 3/20/03
|
| The time for the semi-annual Schnitzel Dinner has arrived! The dinner will
be held at Malene Ginete's house on the 29th of March at 7:30 pm.
Feel free to bring your friends and anyone interested in German or just
plain hungry!
We are asking for $5.00 from everyone to help cover the cost of food.
Aside from that, just bring your hunger and, if you're feeling gererous,
please bring a bottle of soda since we always run out.
Please contact Malene if you are interested in volunteering to help
prepare food or just want to find out more about the upcoming dinner.

German Club Meeting This Week

| It is time for the next German Club meeting!
We will meet at The Swamp Restaurant on University Ave. at 7pm
this Thursday, February 27. We will most likely be on the upstairs
deck as usual.
We hope you can make it!

| We are currently planning German Club events
for the Spring 2003 semester. The schedule should be updated
soon with this information.

Schnitzel Dinner This Friday!

|
| The highly anticipated German Club Schnitzel Dinner will happen
this Friday, December 6th at 7:00 PM. The location
is Malene Ginete's house at 1706 NW 22nd Street.
We are asking for a donation of $5.00 to support next year's social
and continue the German Club tradition. It would also be wonderful
if you could bring along a bottle of soda or some other beverage.
Finally, if you would like to volunteer to help cook, set up, etc., or
if you need directions to Malene's house, you can contact Malene or Todd
Reid before this Friday.

German Club Stammtisch at The Swamp at 7:00 PM.
Look forward to an evening of food, fun, and discussion
of the upcoming Schnitzel dinner.

Oktoberfest Party

There's no Gator football this coming weekend,
so you have no excuse not to come to the German Club
Oktoberfest Party! The fun begins at 10:30PM
this Friday, October 25th at Erick's house.
Please let one of the officers know if you plan to attend,
and bring a few dollars to help out with the costs.
If you need directions, contact one of the officers or
another German Club member.

First off, the second German Club meeting of the year
will be this Thursday at the Swamp Restaurant.
Second, we will be heading to Ginnie Springs for tubing
and BBQ this coming Sunday. More information about this
event will be available at this week's meeting.
