Career Highlights
- 1991-92: Reached the NCAA Finals as a freshman and lost to Duke.
- 1992-93: Once again, Michigan's Fab Five reached the Finals and had a
chance to beat UNC, but Webber called an illegal time-out with 11 seconds
left in the game. Was selected first in the draft by Orlando, but then traded
to Golden State for Penny Hardaway and future draft picks.
- 1993-94: Won the Rookie of the Year award averaging 17.5 pts, 9.1
rebounds, 3.6 assits, and 2.2 blocks per game. Also led the Warriors to
a 50-32 record and a playoff berth.
- 1994-95: Was traded to Washington at the start of the season for Tom
Gugliotta and future draft picks and was reunited with Fab Five teammate
Juwan Howard. He missed 19 games because of a separated shoulder, but
still averaged 20.1 pts, 9.6 rebounds, and 4.7 assists per game.
- 1995-96: Missed most of the season because of shoulder injuries that
required surgery. In the 15 games he played in, he averaged 23.7 ppg.
