Meet Steve and Charlene Michaels

Steve graduated from Georgetown University with a degree in international economics. He then served three years on active duty with the U.S. Army and achieved the rank of captain. After his conversion to Christ, Steve earned a masters in biblical studies from Liberty Christian College. His campus experience includes five years of Chi Alpha ministry at Penn State University. Since 1991, Steve has overseen Chi Alpha at the University of Florida. He and his lovely wife, Charlene, were married in 1984 and are the parents of two sons. Charlene holds a masters degree in mathematics from Penn State University and is the Chi Alpha associate pastor.
