Peaceful Paths is a temporary shelter for women and children who are victims of domestic abuse. Because of the secrecy and deprivation of this lifestyle (regardless of how temporary) many items quickly become unaffordable luxuries. Throughout the month of February through Spring Break, BGSO will be accepting books and toys, which will be sorted and donated to Peaceful Paths in March. No book is too academic or too “fun” for this project: These women are, as all women, diverse in their interests, educational backgrounds and intellect. Toys for all age groups are needed. Boxes marked “BGSO Books & Toys” will be placed at the IBC, BGSO cubicle, and the English Department mailroom in Turlington.
