How do I join Alpha Phi Omega?
Attend Rush!
Tau Chapter holds its Rush for 1-2 weeks at the beginning of each school semester. Students interested in joing Alpha Phi Omega have an opportunity to attend numerous events during the week that express the fraternity's commitment to leadership, friendship and service, including informational meetings, social gatherings and service projects. After the week-long Rush period, rushees will receive a bid if asked to pledge the Fraternity. Please visit us at Rush if you have ANY interest in APO. Rushing is your best chance to ask the brothers questions; it is in no way considered a commitment on your part!
If you would like to speak with a member of Tau in person, feel free to contact one of our officers to make an appointment or stop by the UF Information Booth during regular business hours. The Booth is located at the HUB bus stop right next to Turlington Plaza in the center of campus. A map can be found here.
| In order to be considered for pledging, students should attend at least 1 of each type of rush event (info session, service project, and fellowship). |

Rushees who are offered bids (and decide to accept them) become Pledges of the Fraternity. Pledging is a 10 week process during which time new members learn about the Fraternity, demonstrate their commitment to its values of Leadership, Friendship and Service and also have lots of fun.
